Hiking

Most of our hikes take place in Franklin Mountains State Park. The Franklin Mountains split El Paso in
two and provide great recreational opportunities. It is the largest urban park in the nation with over 26,000 acres,
covering some 40 square miles. Elevation in the park ranges from 4,000 to over 7,000 feet above sea level.
The park is a wonderful place for hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, trail running and rock climbing.
Primitive camp sites (tent and small RV sites with no water or electricity) are available in the Tom Mays
Unit of the park on the west side of the mountains.

We also offer customized group hiking tours in the park. Let us create a short excursion or a long trek
that’s perfect for your family or business group.

We now also offer tours in Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument
