Most of our tours take place in Franklin Mountains State Park.  The Franklin Mountains split El Paso in two and provide great recreational opportunities. It is the largest urban park in the nation with over 26,000 acres, covering some 40 square miles. Elevation in the park ranges from 4,000 to over 7,000 feet above sea level.
Some tours are also offered in Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument and Guadalupe Mountains National Park.  It’s all Chihuahuan Desert environment with high elevation and arid climates. It’s important to be well-hydrated – this means high (non-alcoholic) fluid intake beginning at least 24 hours before venturing outside.

We offer several tour options to appeal to many types of people. Even our easiest rides are true mountain bike rides. Riders need to be physically fit and know how to ride a bicycle.  You will be riding at 4,000 feet above sea level and higher on all of our rides.

Our tour options range from a introductory excursions showing what it’s like on our trails to epic adventures for expert hikers and riders. We’ve classified the trips by level of difficulty. Use these levels to pick what’s right for you. When we talk on the phone or via email we can help you have a fun, memorable and safe day with GeoBetty.
